What started in a classroom has grown into a movement for change
Afloat began as a theatre project with Asylum Link Merseyside. We use the power of the arts to educate, spark conversation, and connect communities. Afloat is arts for the community, made by the community — breaking barriers to make the creative industry more diverse, equal, and inclusive.
Our Mission ; we focus on thought-provoking theatre and community engagement, we quietly fuel change by bringing attention to difficult conversations that are hard to have around current climate issues. Our tools are our art.
Our Vision ; We encourage communities to voice what concerns them through the arts to create positive social change within individuals and the communities we live in. We work with communities who may experience barriers to the arts.

- Empower Voices: We create spaces where groups can use art and performance to express themselves and drive positive change
